WHO WE ARE
Copper Strategic advises ambitious, mission-driven leaders in the non-profit and corporate sectors on effective social impact strategy. We unlock leadership potential in pursuit of social change. We believe the world needs a little more badassery for good.
THE COPPER DIFFERENCE
We’ve been there. We’ve lived it. We’ve been the CEO and the Board Chair. We’ve lived at the intersection of the public and private sectors. We’ve led through complexity, ambiguity, and downright hostility.
Co-founders Chris Korsmo and Sara Morris each bring three decades of experience in organizational leadership, strategy, and execution. We now help others navigate the technical aspects of management alongside the emotional complexity of leadership.
Why Copper? Copper is a conduit, used to achieve something else. It’s supple, yet strong. We and our clients adapt and flex to pursue mission-driven work bigger than ourselves.

LEADERSHIP

CHRIS KORSMO
While she hopes it doesn’t look like it, Chris has led social change work for more than three decades. Through numerous leadership roles across social impact sectors, Chris successfully led efforts to expand health care, improve educational outcomes, and expand access to services on behalf of children and families.
